Sorry
for the recent news blackout! Here is the latest on While Reason Sleeps.
Working on post editing for all remaining episodes, auditions continue,
and likely we'll start new productions in January 2006. Sets 7 and beyond
are still on hold for release at this time.
Until we go into active production, updates will occur only for breaking
news. So if you don't hear from us until then, we wish everyone Happy
Holidays.

19 , 2005
A
World of Their Own remains the last episode to be recorded for Set
10 and that will be completed in the next few weeks. Sets 7 and 8 are
currently on hold for the moment due to a couple of interesting developments
for While Reason Sleeps. Once they are finalized, Sets 7 and
8 will be released.
Going to drop to news updates every two weeks as we have completed this
production schedule, and looking at January 2006 for further sets. We'll
continue to report release dates and any breaking news when it happens.

It's
October once again and that means a whole month of eerieness topped off
by the night known as Halloween! So as you're dragging out your rubber
snakes and spiders, ghost cut-outs, and that 5 year old pack of candy
corns, think about adding this idea to your Halloween party. Gather everyone
around, turn off the lights, and listen to your favorite episode of While
Reason Sleeps. Guaranteed to add that little extra thrill to the
festivities, helps with that high energy bill, and you can also ditch
that unwanted guest in the darkness.

Last
week's production of A Matter of Perspective was our 39th While
Reason Sleeps episode. For that magical 40th episode, and to close
out set 10, we'll be doing an odd little story about a mental institution
called A World of Their Own.

Production
this week focuses on a newlywed couple, and some strange things that happen
during the honeymoon, in the episode entitled A Matter of Perspective.

This
week's production of Look-A-Like shows what it takes to create
a superstar, and just how far the people behind the celebrity will go
to keep them in the limelight.

We're
moving onto Set 10 this week with the production of the episode Spirit
Lock.

This
week we'll be completing productions for Set 9 with an episode that follows
the strange journey of a ship named The Reprisal.

This
week we've assembled a large cast to record the episode The Tin Man's
War. With a touch of 50's sci-fi and 80's horror you've got a great
story on the surface, and some intriguing undertones about what it means
to be human should you want to delve a bit deeper.
We've had our share of adverse weather conditions for some of these production,
but nowhere near what Lousiana, and surrounding areas, are enduring with
the arrival of Katrina. Here's a toast to everyone in the danger zone,
and especially in the Big Easy, that they come through safe and
sound.

Completing
pre-production work for Set 10 this week so we can roll right into full
production in September after we complete Set 9 recordings. Next week
we'll be recording the episode entitled The Tin Man's War .

No
production this week, but additional post editing for Set
7 is coming to a close, and preliminary editing has already begun
for Set 8. This weekend we'll have another audition day on August 20.

Productions
for Set 9 continue this week with a charming little tale called Emma's
Hungry.

There
are a couple of interesting things on the horizon, and for us to prepare
for them we've had to push back the release date of Set
7 until the end of August. Productions have finished for Set 8 and
we'll be moving into Set 9 this month.

This
week we'll be wrapping up productions on Katie17 which closes
out Set 8. Next week will be starting productions for Set 9 beginning
with...The Last Banana!

Productions
continue for Set 8. Seems whenever we do a recording session lately, there's
a booming thunderstorm! But, our studios are designed to handle all types
of inclement weather, so just like the postal service, we continue on!

are completing another production for Set 8 this week, and the reason
we are all smiles is because it's a very funny episode called The
Trouble with Jeremy.

Hope

7 release date is rapidly coming upon us, and should fall somewhere
at the end of July. Productions for Set 8 start this week.

We
posted a lot of new stuff on Friday of last week, so if you haven't seen
it, check out the summaries for Set 7, and
an audio sample from the episode Beneath. Set
6 is finally out with official release date of June 22. This week
we are finalizing casting for Set 8, as well as mastering Set
7 which is falling in place very quickly and should be ready for release
by late July or early August of 2005.

Glad
to report the long awaited release date for Set
6 will be this Wednesday June 22. Look for summaries of Set
7 as well, and we may be able to squeak in that audio clip this week
also. If not, will be early next week. Tenative production starts for
Set 8 in the first week of July.

This
week we began preliminary casting for Set 8! The While Reason Sleeps production
train has definitely left the station for future sets. Still in a holding
pattern however is Set 6 with only the inserts
and booklet needed to release it into the world. The release date should
be any day now. Know that leaves you starving for While Reason Sleeps
stuff, so look for Set 7 summaries and an
audio clip next week.

Sets 8-10 are falling nicely into place with productions scheduled to

For
those of you looking over the horizon to see what While Reason Sleeps
will bring, here are a few peaks at forthcoming episodes from times in
the past, the present, and the future...
From the medieval age, an episode called For Thy Love that details
the return of a long lost knight to a kingdom in peril. Flashing forward
to the present, The Mind Job and Katie17 show the risks
thieves take to get rich, as well as the consequences. Fame holds a price
as well, whether you're a celebrity imposter as in Look-A-Like,
or just letting a dead celebrity "borrow" your body as in the
episode Stars in Her Eyes. Jumping to the future, a story about
the madcap struggle between an individual and a corporation over The
Last Banana.

release date of Set 6 is scheduled for late
May/early June 2005. If the audio preview sample of Dead On has
sparked your interest, the final will blow you away! Fast cars, smooth
blues, and one terminated devil round out the rest of Set
6 done only in the While Reason Sleeps style. Next week,
a little info on episodes for future sets.

in story genres, but each one adapted to the While Reason Sleeps style.

date will be Wednesday, April 13 and then summaries and an audio sample
for Set 6.

The release of Set 5 is scheduled for next
week! We've had some very challenging episodes in Set
5 with exotic locals and action to bring to life, but the final cuts
will be worth the wait. Right on it's heels with be summaries for Set
6 which will include You're Fired
and Dead On.

Digging out from the ice and snow to finally complete productions on Set
7 this week. Conspiracy theorists may point to a connection
between the bad weather and the production of Janitor 51. Not
to fear, until we see the first black helicopter in our airspace, we will
continue on.

Happy
New Year! For January 2005 we'll be in production on several unique
episodes, and here's a brief peek at the ones found in Set
6 and Set 7. Dead On
is a rip roaring Western/Horror episode that really defines what wanted
dead or alive means. You're Fired is a hilarious look at
what happens when the lord of the underworld has a life changing experience.
Janitor 51 explores a mundane job in a very strange place, and
to round it all off the eerie tale of The Incessant, a classic
ghost story with a very unique twist.

A little down time with the holidays for the While Reason Sleeps
staff in preparation for a very busy 2005. In January 2005 alone, the
release of Set 3 and several productions
scheduled to round out Sets 6 and 7.

'Tis the season for While Reason Sleeps. Last friday marked the
recording of our first comedy and the twentieth episode to round out Set
5.

Several new episodes have been recorded in the last week of November and
the first week of December to round out Set
3 and starting on Set 4. Look for summaries
of them to appear soon in the Episode lists.
We have also included a brief description of audio theater.

Set 2 tentative release date moved up to
early December 2004, just in time for Christmas. In 2005, we will be following
a very aggressive production schedule so check often on the episode summaries
to see what is on the horizon. Second round of auditions scheduled throughout
November 2004 for future sets.
